Some Spotflux users may have trouble sending email because we have blocked port 25 and any SMTP server access. This is done to stop abuse of our services and to prevent spam.

It is important to note that SMTP is not recommended as it involves sending mail over plaintext connections and is thus very insecure.

We do support the use of sending emails through authenticated/secure SMTP. For example, the following configurations are supported for major email providers, if yours is not listed below you may want to contact your mail provider directly and demand that they support secure SMTP:

For Google GMail:
