As mobile carriers have moved toward providing IPv6 for its users, we are working toward providing support for our mobile application.  At this time, though, our application only supports IPv4, and attempting to connect via IPv6 will not work.  If you have trouble connecting to Spotflux while on your mobile data network, this may be the issue.

To disable IPv6 on your Android phone, do the following:

  • Navigate to Settings->(under Wireless & Networks) More->Mobile Networks->Access Point Names->(click on the highlighted APN)->APN Protocol.
  • Select either "IPv4" or "IPv4/IPv6".  If you experience any issues with the IPv4/IPv6 hybrid, then select IPv4 only.

We are working on providing IPv6 functionality, but in the meantime this will allow you to enjoy Spotflux on your mobile network.
